Re-approval

Re-approval is a process that a property undergoes if a significant change in its construction, use, or equipment has been made after the initial approval. Such significant changes may include renovations, extensions, installation of new systems or equipment, change in space utilization, etc.

Similar to the original approval, in the case of re-approval, the building authority or other authorized organization reviews whether the changes made comply with current building regulations, safety standards, and approved plans and specifications.

If the re-approval is successful, the building authority issues a new approval decision confirming that the property, after the changes, still complies with the law and is safe for use. If the re-approval does not meet all the requirements, the building authority may refuse to issue a new approval decision and may require further work or adjustments to be made.
